Mom's Tea Pot
The women in my family and church got together and decided to have a "real" vintage tea party. so I did alot of research on the importance of tea time in different time eras. I actually learned alot of interesting stuff! so we decided to do a victorian tea party.
We all wore beautiful hats and gloves along with our best outfit. We ate on my grandma's beautiful china, ate diff types of scones.(homemade by yours truly).W ish I had some pics, but I dont! At that timeI didn't have a digital camera - hard to believe.
We had taper candles on all of the tables, with fresh floral arrangements as the centerpieces. We asked those that came to bring a teapot they have, either new or passed down to them. We had like a story time where we told a story about our teapot or the person who gave it to us. Some got emotional, some laughed. it was pretty great.

TPQ Comment: Tina, thanks so much for sharing this Vintage Tea Party idea. I know I have at least 5 teapots, one of which is shown above. It's a teapot my Mom gave me a few years before she died. She said she bought it because it matched the pillows in my living room. I also have a few pots my Grandma gave me, each with a story of their own.
I could easily host a Vintage Team Party like this at my home and love every minute of it. A great womens party idea.
