Tastefully Simple Dips in Double Crock Pot
Making football appetizers from Tastefully Simple products is very easy because I usually have all the ingredient on hand.
Most of the dips I make are mixed with mayo and/or cream cheese which I always have and the beer bread is made with butter and beer, of course.
I always have the Spinach Herb blend in my spice cabinet because I use it as an all purpose seasoning for eggs, salads and meats but it also makes a fantastic football appetizer when served COLD with Tastefully Simple beer bread.
I snapped the photo above when I hosted a recent bonfire party. I wanted to serve a selection of cold and hot appetizers so I cut up some carrots and celery and then made a loaf of beer bread that I cut into chunks.
Next to them I placed my new double Crock Pot and filled one side with the Tastefully Simple Queso Dip and the other with their Warm Chive Dip (don't think they sell this one anymore).
The point is, the Tastefully Simple products are great to keep on hand for last minute football appetizers or really for any theme party you are hosting. You can Google them and order on line.
A word about the Little Double Crock Pot. If you put cheesy dips in it like I did, you will have to stir it every once in a while because it burns a little hot. I like it but you have to watch it.
