Have a Ladies Night Out At Church! We've had pizza and dessert. Some have played games.
We've also taken things to be given tickets for. Whatever number of tickets a lady has, she can use to buy other things that have been given.
The things that are left are donated to the children's department.
TPQ Comment: This Ladies Night Out At Church sounds like fun. If I understand your explanation of giving tickets out, it sounds sort of like a white elephant exchange except that each item is given a ticket value (one item might be worth 2 tickets while a bigger/nicer item might be worth 3). So if you bring a better item, you will earn more tickets which you can use to buy items that other people have brought. Sounds like a great way to recycle items you are no longer using and to gain new ones. Also I like that you donate whatever is left over. Thank you for contributing Kathy.
Here's how you do it:
