When our children were babies, my friends and I started a ladies Book Club to give ourselves a chance to use our brains as well as have a well deserved adult night out! Eight years later, we are still going strong! We have lost some members and picked up other over the years but we usually have about 8 women at each book club meeting.
We meet once a month at alternate houses, whoever picks the book for the month, is the host. Sometimes we try to tie in the food of the evening with the book if possible. We keep a notebook of every book we've read and what each person thought. It's great to look back on all the great (and some not so great) book club stories that we have shared together over the years!
