Hot Chipped Beef Dip
The Perfect Bite
This easy beef recipe brings back a lot of memories for me and probably others who grew up in the 70's and 80's.
- 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 T. milk
- 2 T. instant minced onion
- 2 T. finely chopped green pepper
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 2.5 oz. jar sliced dried beef, chopped
- 1/4 c. chopped pecan
- Fresh veggies, bread chunks, crackers
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and milk. Beat until fluffy.
Stir in onion, green pepper and dried beef. Pour into 1-quart shallow casserole; sprinkle with nuts.
Bake for 15 minutes or until hot. Serve Hot Chipped Beef Dip with fresh vegetable dippers, crackers or bread chunks.
Makes 2 cups of perfect appetizers for a party.
For a cold version, refrigerate the dip then serve with sliced cucumbers and crackers (place a cucumber on a cracker then a dollop of dip on top). Yum!
