Green Hawaiian - AKA Pearl Harbor

The girls seem to love this drink. It's one part vodka, one part midori, topped with pineapple juice.

If you're making one drink, use a shot of each and a small can (6 oz) of pineapple juice.

We usually make a pitcher and use a measuring cup for equal parts.

Don't forget to fill the glass or pitcher with plenty of ice so it does not melt right away and get watered down.

The correct name is a Pearl Harbor, but our neighbor was offended because his father was in WWII. I always thought of it as a tribute drink and I know it was the pineapple/Hawaii reference, but we started calling it a Green Hawaiian out of respect to our neighbor.
