Great with Cheese Balls
At supermarkets "cheese balls" found in the special cheese section are already prepared and are usually inexpensive or you could make your own? just Google for a "Cheese Ball Recipe". Also, Brie is a good cheese and I found it the least expensive an more for your money at Costco!
Both of these suggestions are great to serve with crackers. I wouldn't know what wines they would go best with but I welcome any suggestions to add to this?
TPQ Comment: Thank you for your suggestion Cynthia. Over the holidays I was extremely busy and needed an appetizer for a party we were attending. I found a beautiful cheese ball at Sam's Club and made a mini cheese platter with it. Added crackers, grapes and nuts and served at room temperature. Personally I like red wine with this type of cheese, like a bottle of Bogle Merlot.
