Great Ice Breaker Group Game!
My husband and I made up this Cocktail Party Survivor Party Game for our housewarming party. It was a great interaction game since there were several people that didn't know one another. You can adjust the numbers according to how many players. As you can see we had 18. You can also set your own theme.
Game 1: Puzzle, 3 Tribes of 6 people (18 total)
•Each tribe member attempts puzzle solution.
•Fastest solution for immunity.
•Each tribe votes off one member.
Game 2: Corporate Crisis, 3 Tribes of 5 people (15 total)
•Team to spend 5 minutes developing a 5-step crisis plan to deal with kidnap of Pres/CEO.
•Select one person to present plan.
•Person selected is Pres/CEO (gets immunity).
•Each tribe votes off one member.
Game 3: Shots, 3 Tribes of 4 people (12 total)
•Each tribe member drinks shots.
•Fastest time for immunity.
•Each tribe votes off one member.
Game 4: Balance, 3 Tribes of 3 people (9 total)
•Each tribe member attempts balance.
•Longest time for immunity.
•Each tribe votes off one member.
Game 5: Scruples, 2 Tribes of 3 people (6 total)
•Each tribe member takes turns asking questions of the members of the opposing tribe. Alternate between tribes. Correct guess stays in game.
•Last one in game from each tribe for immunity.
•Each tribe votes off one member (leaves 4 total).
•Jury of voted off members vote off one more (leaves 3 total).
Game 6: You Dont Know Jack,3 people total
•Head-to-Head competition
•1st and 2nd place move on to next round.
Game 7: Quiz, 2 people total
•Moderator takes turn asking questions of each person in turn about voted off members (where they live, company, title, how long there, kids names).
•Best of 10 for winner!
TPQ Comment: Thanks for contributing this Cocktail Theme Party Survivor Game idea. I can see how this idea can be used for several different types of theme parties and the hosts can come up with different games for each segment. It's hard trying to find a game that works for large groups. I like how you purposely put the balance game AFTER the shots game. Very clever Patti :)
Here's how you do it:
