Easy Football Party Appetizer
How easy can a football appetizer get? Well these Chicken Strips served with your favorite sauces take the prize.
Last weekend I hosted a football party. Yes, I made the usual Taco Dip for a Crowd that everybody loves, but I also served a big platter of chicken strips.
I bought the most expensive bag of chicken strips I could find at Sam's Club. There were a couple different choices but I decided to spend the extra dollar or two and get the best ones. They were already breaded and fully cooked. All I had to do was warm them up for about 20 minutes.
The best and easiest part was that I served them with 2 bottled sauces and one homemade sauce. First, I chose a sweet chili sauce that I found in the Asian aisle at the store. Sweet with a little bit of heat from the red pepper flakes.
Next, I served our favorite Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. The 3rd one is what we call "Fire Sauce." It is so simple to make and we serve it with all kinds of stuff including french fries. All you do is mix your favorite Ranch dressing with Frank's Red Hot sauce to taste.
Making a big platter of chicken strips and serving them with your favorite sauces is about the easiest and well-liked hot football appetizer you can make. Be prepared...they go fast!
