Bunco Party Food

In addition to bunco score cards, you are also going to need some snacks, appetizer and dessert recipes. Do you have any in mind? Maybe I can help.

I played bunco with my neighbors every month for 2 years. Certain types of snack mix, appetizers and desserts always seemed to be more popular. I'll share one here and give you some links to other favorite bunco party food.

Featured Bunco Recipe - Spicy Snack Mix

At our neighborhood bunco get-togethers, we had 12 players, 3 appetizers, 2 desserts and ALWAYS had snack mix on the tables for people to munch on.

This particular snack mix has a bit of a kick. Not overpowering, just enough to spice things up, a perfect bunco party appetizer.

• 8 cups popped popcorn (buy a couple of pre-made bags to save time
• 2-1/2 cups miniature pretzels
• 2-1/2 cups crunchy cheese-flavored snacks (I use Cheetos)
• 1/3 cup butter
• 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
• 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Heat oven to 325 degrees. In large bowl, combine popcorn, pretzels, and cheese flavored snacks.

Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat; stir in lemon pepper, seasoning, oregano, chili powder, garlic powder and onion powder.

Pour butter mixture over popcorn mixture; stir to coat. Spread snack mix in ungreased jelly roll pan and back for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring once.

Cool completely. Store in airtight container. Makes 11-1 cup snack mix servings.

For 12 bunco players, you will set up 3 tables of 4. At each of the tables, set out of bowl of this spicy snack mix and watch is disappear.
