Happy Holidays! I have been busy preparing for the holiday season, getting my Christmas cards ready, planning my parties, choosing recipes and buying gifts for my loved ones. You'll also find some great gift ideas for yourself and others. Gift Ideas I was visiting my mother-in-law a couple of weeks ago and got to play around with her new toy, an Amazon Kindle. If you haven't heard about it yet, the Kindle is an electronic reading device that's about the size of a paperback book but thinner and can hold over 1500 e-books, magazines and newspapers. When I got home, I investigated and found out Kindle owners can choose from "over 360,000 books, including 101 of 112 New York Times® Best Sellers, plus U.S. and international newspapers, magazines, and blogs." And guess what? 4000 of them have to do with food, cooking and wine and another 1500 of them have to do specifically with parties! What? Cookbooks on the Kindle? Sounds like it's right up my alley!
